Fed: Hough says he will stay on as national director of party

One Nation Perth MP FRANK HOUGH has vowed to continue as national leader of his party
while facing charges over the sale of a car.

The upper house MP was summonsed by the Consumer Affairs department yesterday, and
charged with selling a car for profit while not holding a motor vehicle yard licence.

Mr HOUGH, a former car dealer, says the charge brought against him is politically motivated.

He says the charge relates to a period after he sold his car business and before he
entered the state parliament in February.

He told ABC radio he will continue as national director of the party, and says his
role is a matter for the party to decide.

The state branch of the party has supported Mr HOUGH.

He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on September 25.
